The City Council wants help before it takes action to tackle anti-social behaviour in city centre car parks. It is working with Devon and Cornwall Police to tackle issues related to alcohol and drug use, public disturbance and the use of stairwells as toilets. To support this work, they are proposing a Public Space Protection Order covering the Napier Street, Regent Street, Mayflower East, Theatre Royal, Western Approach and Colin Campbell Court car parks.

The order would give the police and designated officers the power to move people on if they are causing a nuisance. As part of this process, the council is asking you to recount your experiences of anti-social behaviour in car parks, with a survey on the council consultation portal.
